Algo execution in India

Exchange-approved algo trading is the real moat for automated Indian equity execution

Most retail trading products stop at alerts. A smaller set can place orders through broker APIs. The rare part is approved automated order routing that is tagged and validated for NSE and BSE execution.

Rare execution credential

NSE & BSE approved algo execution under India’s SEBI-governed framework

DeltaGrid is not just a signal sheet. The execution stack has exchange-approved algo routing for both NSE and BSE, giving the desk a regulated path for automated Indian equity orders with broker-side validation and traceable order tags.

Execution details
NSE

SEBI framework

Built for India’s regulated exchange algo-trading controls, broker validation, and auditability.

Approval refers to exchange/broker algo registration and order-tagging infrastructure. It is not an investment recommendation, performance guarantee, or direct SEBI endorsement.

Why approval matters

In Indian markets, automated execution is not just a software problem. Orders need to move through broker infrastructure, exchange controls, product checks, circuit limits, and audit trails. Exchange-approved algo routing creates a cleaner path for automated orders because the route is identified and validated instead of being indistinguishable from ad hoc manual traffic.

What DeltaGrid uses it for

DeltaGrid focuses on cash-market swing execution for NSE equities and ETFs. The system generates risk-sized BUY candidates, places eligible orders through supported broker APIs, reconciles fills, and manages exit GTTs where the user has opted into automation.

What it does not mean

Exchange approval for an algo route does not mean a trade will be profitable. It does not remove market risk, slippage, liquidity risk, or broker rejection risk. It also does not mean SEBI has endorsed a strategy. The value is execution hygiene: registered routing, order tags, broker validation, logs, and a cleaner operational audit trail.
